Prime Minister Narendra Modi ruleded out the thought that Terrorism is not “home grown” in fact it is “exported” to India when asked about the hike of Islamic state (IS) militants in West-Asia. The question was also about any danger that such unrest might spread to India.
“Terrorism has no borders..There is no good terrorist or bad terrorist. Terrorism is terrorism,” he quoted.
He added, “There is a need to take the challenge of terrorism seriously. It’s sad that many countries could not earlier understand the ugly face of terrorism which is enemy of humanity,”
The Prime Minister clearly discarded any division linking good and bad terrorism and encouraged each civilian of the world to fight next to ugly face of terrorism in single voice. Only if we fight united then only we can tackle this problem successfully.
Modi described, “People of all communities in India are driven by a core philosophy. That is symbolized by Buddha, Mahatma Gandhi. Non-violence is at the core of our philosophy…,”. Modi also said that we cannot measure terrorism on the scale of plus and minus.
Lastly he stressed on the point that,” The world will have to speak in one voice against terrorism “. Adding more to the speech, Modi said “when I saw it on television that a man has been beheaded it’s such a challenge in the 21st century for the mankind, a challenge that can shake up anyone… Terrorism is mankind’s enemy.”
Our Opinion:
I am well agreeing with what our honorable Prime Minister said that terrorism has no boundaries and we have to fight against it in one voice.I Also agree with the sentence that terrorism is beyond any religion.
I just want to support Modi’s thought about terrorism and want you people remind of that time when East India Company (1707)setup their case empire in India at their starting age EIC was not home grown. But now if we turn the pages of our history, then it feelsthat EIC had become home grown slowly and slowly. This is exactly what is happening to terrorism nowadays. If we all together as one nation will not fight against terrorism sooner or later it will become “home grown”.
Not criticizing what Modi said that Terrorism is not “home grown” in fact it is “exported”, the use of the word “export” however, is rather an imprecise terminology to describe that situation and indeed carries the flavor of the exact opposite of what is meant.
