On a lovely Friday afternoon a loyal customer of a certain mobile services company decided to recharge his prepaid mobile by going to the company website and using their online payment system.
A simple endeavor that most of the customers undertake on similar business websites so that, they may “enjoy” continuous services and stay connected. But what if, all of your trust is shaken by not getting the reversal of kindness and loyalty from the business.
May be the business was just overloaded with demands from other loyal customers so, you contact them and let them know about their mistake as you may have fallen in their blind-spot. That’s a normal action taken, but then when your complaint continues to be in their blind-spot, a deliberate attempt by them, it is considered as bad governance by the government.
A situation reported to us by Mr. Moiz Ul-Haq, a loyal customer of a certain mobile communication company is as follows, “I recharged on the website as a normal procedure, but after the money being deducted from my account via net-banking payment and not being credited on my mobile account I contacted the company.” As there was no revert from the company’s side on his complaint he went on a social website where the company had an account and wrote about the concern.
“Repeated tweets were sent and the company contacted me but every time they would only give same answer that an action would be taken to solve my complaint.” Mr. Moiz Ul-Haq adds on his ongoing ordeal with the company. Even after six days no action was taken and such a loyal client was roaming without any solution from the company’s side.
Such disregard to a loyal customer’s concern only shows the level ofcorruption that such privately owned entities practice in the name of “customer satisfaction”. As the current government is focusing on removing corruption from India, it has become necessary to support this movement and get together so that right service is delivered with full satisfaction.
In conclusion, the thought behind the idea “be Indian and buy Indian” does not reflect the notion that Indian companies should deal with Indian citizens in a negatively partial manner. Indian companies should only start expecting true loyalty when they provide a high level of quality in service and products to the Indian citizens as they would to any foreigner. Let’s get together and remove corruption from every level of our society and make India a proud self-sustained nation.
