The General Elections saw a Modi-led-sarkaar being campaigned instead of it being BJP vs. other parties contest. And voila! BJP had an unbelievable victory like no one had ever seen before!!! And now suddenly, the by-elections have worked against them and they have lost heavily. Is this enough for BJP to understand that only a good leader is not important, but a good party ideology is imperative?
Modi is doing an excellent job (at least so far) with all his agendas and strategies aimed towards making India a self-sufficient nation. But it is sad to see that his party, without him and Amit Shah campaigning, is still trying to win elections on the basis of petty communal campaigns, as run by the likes of Yogi Adityanath. And they lose!
I think it’s high time that all political parties understand that Indians – Indians and not Hindus or Muslims – are looking for a good unbiased, educated and progressive government. Gone are the days when people would choose a leader on the basis of what his last name conveys …. Nehru or Jinnah!

Subject: Article for Litmus News; Who is losing: Modi or BJP?
Four months ago, when BJP got a thumping mandate, we know, it was actually Modi who won, with Development agenda, and NOT the BJP for a change…… or, for their saffron ideology.
We can see Modi totally committed to the development, leaving politics & campaigns to local & second line politicians for now. Nepal- Bhutan- Japan- Australia- China route for the journey destination White House, has been full of landmark achievements.
But recent BJP’s campaign with tools of ‘Love Jehad’ ‘Madarsa’ ‘Animal flesh trade for terrorists’ etc have only taken it to deep shit. Saffron approach has been discarded once again by our wise electorate giving a clear message to the politics of divide. We may recall Congress’s comment on Vajpayee that, ‘He is good, but in a bad political party…”.
Is Modi, known to be more assertive than Vajpayee, will take the bull by horns? Will good sense prevail, or a surgical intervention is imminent? Is BJP heading for a division for the Right wing Vs Forward looking developmentalist’s conflict? The enlightened Indian electorate today want country to win, and NOT Congress or BJP.
